Senior Digital Transformation Project Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Digital Transformation Project Manager to spearhead large-scale digital transformation efforts across various business units. This role demands expertise in managing complex projects, aligning technology with strategic business goals, and leading organizational change.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee complete lifecycle of digital transformation initiatives from planning to execution and delivery.
• Create transformation strategies aligned with company objectives and key priorities.
• Identify innovative opportunities to update processes, systems, and enhance customer experience.
• Work closely with senior leadership to establish digital transformation goals and outcomes.
• Manage significant cross-departmental projects encompassing ERP, CRM, cloud computing, AI, automation, data analytics, and enterprise software.
• Set up governance structures, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans along with risk mitigation frameworks.
• Ensure timely and quality project delivery within defined scope and finances.
• Coordinate efforts among internal teams, external suppliers, consultants, and technology partners.
• Engage with executives and department leaders to secure alignment and participation.
• Organize workshops, steering meetings, and status update sessions for stakeholders.
• Effectively communicate project progress, risks, and mitigation approaches to top management.
• Lead change management to guarantee smooth adoption of new technologies and business processes.
• Develop and execute communication, training, and stakeholder involvement plans.
• Encourage a culture promoting innovation, ongoing improvements, and digital acceptance.
• Identify risks and challenges within projects and apply suitable mitigation techniques.
• Ensure all initiatives comply with governance policies, regulations, cybersecurity protocols, and best practice standards.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators and project success measures.
• Review project results and incorporate lessons learned to improve future programs.
• Champion Agile, Lean, and Project Management Office (PMO) best practices throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or related fields; master's degree (MBA preferred).
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master or equivalent are an advantage.
• Certifications or knowledge in Digital Transformation, Change Management or Enterprise Architecture are beneficial.
• A minimum of 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in project management, IT strategy or business transformation.
• At least 5 years managing enterprise digital transformation programs.
• Proven record in leading large scale technology deployments and change initiatives.
• Experience in industries such as government, energy, telecom, healthcare, banking, retail, or smart cities is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with the Saudi Arabian or broader GCC market is a strong plus.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in digital transformation and innovation strategy formulation.
• Strong project and program management skills.
• Proficient in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Familiar with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Experience in data analytics and business intelligence solutions.
• Competence in AI and automation technology implementations.
• Understanding of change management frameworks and enterprise architecture concepts.
• Awareness of IT governance and cybersecurity protocols.
• Use of tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, and Power BI.
