Job Overview

In this role, you will oversee structural engineering activities and conduct detailed technical reviews of EPC contractor submissions for onshore facilities. Your duties will include auditing structural calculations, reviewing general arrangement drawings, and checking steel and concrete detailing along with foundation design documents to ensure they meet project specifications and relevant industry standards such as ACI, AISC, ASCE, and API.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate structural design calculations and detailed drawings to confirm adherence to specifications and codes.
• Ensure facility structures maintain integrity, are constructible, and comply with seismic requirements.
• Take part in design and model review meetings and contribute to value engineering efforts.
• Support project management during procurement and construction by reviewing material submissions and structural method statements.
• Supervise EPC contractor performance to guarantee timely delivery and quality standards.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 12 years professional experience, with at least 6 years focused on civil or structural engineering within major onshore Oil and Gas or Petrochemical projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is mandatory.

The position is based in Al Khafji, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
