About the Role
Penspen is seeking an experienced Senior Corrosion / Material Engineer to join their offshore project team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role focuses on leveraging extensive corrosion and material engineering expertise within oil and gas and petrochemical sectors.
Responsibilities and Experience
- Possess a minimum of twelve years of professional experience, with at least six years specifically in Corrosion Engineering applied to major Oil and Gas or Petrochemical projects.
- Preferably, candidates should have experience working in Project Management Consultancy (PMC) roles relevant to corrosion and materials engineering.
- Familiarity with Saudi Aramco Desktop Standards, procedures, and practices is advantageous.
- Exposure to the construction and commissioning stages of projects is beneficial but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel, is necessary.
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline with specialization or significant studies in corrosion, materials, or metallurgical engineering.
