Senior BIM Technician

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior BIM Technician to lead the creation and coordination of Building Services designs across various industries. This role involves delivering high-quality BIM models, coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams, and ensuring projects meet top standards efficiently.

Expertise in one or more disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, Hydraulic Services, Security, or ICT / Communications is welcomed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the development and coordination of BIM models during all project phases.
• Create detailed Revit models and design documents conforming to project criteria and company standards.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary models and resolve clashes using recognized BIM software.
• Assist teams with BIM planning and the implementation of digital engineering strategies.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, designers, and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.
• Help prepare and execute BIM Execution Plans and deliver project-specific BIM outputs.
• Identify potential risks related to project coordination and construction, managing them proactively.
• Mentor junior BIM technicians and promote best BIM practices.
• Contribute to enhancing BIM standards, content libraries, and digital engineering workflows.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
• Encourage innovation and the use of emerging digital technologies within the company.

Required Experience and Skills

• 8 to 10 years of experience in BIM modeling and documentation for Building Services.
• Expert-level skills in Autodesk Revit.
• Strong background in at least one Building Services discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Fire, Hydraulic, Security, or ICT).
• Experienced in the coordination of multi-disciplinary BIM models.
• Familiarity with BIM collaboration platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and BIM 360.
• Understanding of clash detection, model federation, and coordination processes.
• Excellent communication and skills in engaging with stakeholders.
• Ability to efficiently work cross-functionally across several project groups and locations.
