They are currently looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join their Limerick or Galway offices.

Role Overview

The Senior Architectural Technologist will lead the technical execution of projects from detailed design stages through to construction completion. Collaborating closely with Project Leads and multidisciplinary teams, the role ensures compliance with Irish Building Regulations and statutory requirements while maintaining excellence in project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily technical delivery of assigned projects.
• Prepare and coordinate planning applications and submissions.
• Develop tender documents, detailed construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and construction packages.
• Work alongside architects, engineers, contractors, and specialist consultants throughout project phases.
• Participate in client, design team, and site meetings.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress.
• Resolve technical design and construction challenges.
• Ensure quality assurance standards are met throughout all stages.
• Guide and mentor junior staff members.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Architectural Technology, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience with large-scale commercial, healthcare, or mixed-use projects.
• Membership of RIAI Architectural Technologist or an equivalent recognised European credential.
• In-depth knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and statutory compliance.
• Proficient in Revit and BIM methodologies.
• Strong expertise in technical detailing and construction processes.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset towards project delivery.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
