About the Role
Rhythm Careers is partnering with a renowned Architecture and Interior Design firm celebrated for delivering technically superior and high-performing buildings. They seek 3-4 Architectural Technologists to join their amicable team, turning design visions into feasible, built realities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will translate design ideas into well-grounded technical solutions, collaborating closely with Senior Architects or Associates. Responsibilities include developing detailed drawings, addressing complex detailing issues, and ensuring smooth progression of projects from the design phase to completion.
The role entails strong coordination with the broader design team and external consultants, mentoring junior staff, and independently managing deliverables by highlighting issues early and maintaining transparent communication with supervisors.
Day-to-day activities include creating technically accurate drawings, preparing specifications and schedules, supporting conceptual and presentation efforts under senior guidance, and championing best practices within the studio. The position also requires site visits, including occasional international travel, and active collaboration with Project Managers and Contract Administrators.
Required Experience and Skills
This position suits candidates with approximately 2 to 5 years of post-qualification experience, who have worked through multiple stages of projects and developed a solid grasp of regulatory compliance. The candidate should balance meticulous technical detail with practical solutions that are buildable on site and confidently represent the studio to clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Experience handling large and intricate projects is highly valued.
Technical Proficiencies
Applicants must possess strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building regulations. Proficiency with Revit, BIM 360, and AutoCAD is essential for this role.
