Job description
Role Overview
A leading design studio specializing in workplace interiors—serving clients across technology, finance, professional services, hospitality, and residential sectors—is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist. The successful candidate will oversee technical project delivery from initial concept through to construction completion.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for maintaining high standards in Revit and BIM practices within the Interiors team, ensuring documentation, coordination models, and tender packages meet quality benchmarks. Your role involves close collaboration with architects, engineers, designers, and clients, including some international communication. Independent problem-solving is vital, as is contributing to the continuous enhancement of the studio's digital workflows and template systems. Mentorship and guidance to junior technologists are important aspects of this position.
Experience and Skills Required
Applicants should have at least seven years’ professional experience as an architectural technologist, preferably with a background in workplace or commercial interiors. Strong proficiency in Revit and a solid understanding of BIM workflows are critical. Candidates must possess comprehensive knowledge of construction detailing and the capability to work autonomously during high-demand periods. While design skills are not mandatory, they would be advantageous.
Benefits and Opportunities
This role offers involvement in interior design projects for prestigious international clients, with significant influence over the development of BIM and Revit procedures. The studio prioritizes design quality and invests in continuing professional development and training. Compensation and benefits are competitive within the industry.
