Junior Architect

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-focused Junior Architect to become part of our design team based in Pune. The candidate should be well-versed in architectural design principles, detailed working drawings, and construction detailing, with the aptitude to collaborate efficiently with consultants, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Support in creating architectural concepts, design ideas, and client presentations.
• Draft precise working drawings, construction plans, and related documentation for architectural projects.
• Develop comprehensive plans, elevations, sections, details, and layouts tailored to project demands.
• Ensure alignment of architectural plans with structural, MEP, and other consultant drawings.
• Participate in site visits for measurements, inspections, and coordination of onsite activities.
• Compile material selections, scheduling, and basic specification documents.
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers to address drawing and site inquiries.
• Revise drawings as needed according to feedback from clients, consultants, and site observations.
• Maintain compliance of drawings and documentation with building codes and project standards.
• Assist senior architects through various phases of design development and project execution.
• Organize and maintain project files, drawings, and related documents systematically.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) from an accredited institute.
• At least one year of professional experience in architectural design or comparable fields.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD software is essential.
• Familiarity with SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, Enscape, Photoshop, or equivalent tools is beneficial.
• Solid understanding of architectural drawings, construction methodologies, and relevant materials.
• Able to interpret structural and MEP drawings effectively.
• Good communication skills, coordination abilities, and effective time management.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset to learn and grow.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within teams.

Preferred Expertise

• Experience on projects in residential, commercial, hospitality, or interior design sectors.
• Basic awareness of local building regulations and approval procedures relevant to Maharashtra.
• Competence in preparing polished presentations and comprehensive design documents.
• Some exposure to site execution and coordination activities is advantageous.
