Senior Architectural & Interior Designer

Job Overview

We seek an experienced Senior Architectural & Interior Designer to lead the conceptualization and execution of upscale residential and hospitality projects. This role demands proficiency in both architectural and interior design, strong technical detailing skills, and the ability to independently manage design deliverables and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop architectural and interior design concepts, presentations, and comprehensive design packages from inception through to completion.
• Prepare, assess, and refine layouts, technical drawings, material selections, finishes, and furniture, fixtures & equipment (FF&E) proposals.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary technical designs and evaluate outputs from external architects, interior designers, and specialized consultants.
• Deliver client presentations explaining design rationale and adapt proposals based on client feedback.
• Oversee design approvals, manage design modifications, and ensure timely deliverables across multiple projects.
• Review construction and shop drawings, address design inquiries, and resolve technical issues in collaboration with contractors and onsite teams.
• Uphold design quality while accounting for project schedules, budgets, and practical construction demands.
• Mentor junior designers and conduct reviews of their work as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Eight to ten years of relevant experience in architecture, interior design, or a closely related domain, demonstrating involvement in both architectural and interior disciplines.
• A strong portfolio showcasing premium luxury residential, private residences, hospitality, or similarly design-intensive projects.
• Proven track record of progressing projects from concept through detailed design development to implementation.
• Expertise in technical detailing, comprehensive understanding of materials, FF&E, finishes, and effective construction coordination.
• Capability to independently manage entire design packages and make informed design decisions.
• Outstanding presentation, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience within the UAE or GCC market, or an equivalent international luxury setting is beneficial.
• Proficient use of Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and 3D rendering software tools.
