Job description
About the Role
We are conducting a confidential search to appoint a Senior Manager in Talent & Organisation Performance for a large multi-industry enterprise based in Dubai. This role suits a seasoned professional passionate about developing and evolving comprehensive talent management and organizational development frameworks rather than maintaining status quo practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and continuously enhance the enterprise-wide Performance Management system, including goal setting, evaluation processes, calibration, governance, and reporting mechanisms.
- Create an Organizational Balanced Scorecard that converts business strategies into quantifiable objectives at both corporate and individual levels.
- Develop and refine Job Architecture encompassing job families, hierarchical levels, role descriptions, and governance protocols.
- Lead job evaluation and benchmarking projects, ideally utilizing Mercer IPE and/or Korn Ferry Hay methodologies, collaborating closely with Total Rewards teams.
- Establish robust frameworks for identifying critical roles, managing critical talent, conducting talent reviews, and planning succession.
- Convert talent-related insights into actionable development plans, mobility opportunities, retention strategies, and workforce initiatives.
- Manage people transformation programs throughout their lifecycle from initial design, implementation to change adoption.
- Utilize people analytics, artificial intelligence, and automation tools to optimize decision-making and enhance HR processes.
- Engage with senior leadership to offer structured insight and challenge on complex human capital topics.
Candidate Profile
- Possess between 5 to 8+ years of relevant experience in Talent Management, Organization Development, HR Strategy, or people transformation roles.
- Experience working within Centers of Excellence, consulting firms, or large, complex organizational environments.
- Proven ability to build and implement foundational people frameworks rather than merely administering existing systems.
- Hands-on expertise in Performance Management, succession planning, critical talent management, and Job Architecture including job evaluation.
- Demonstrated experience developing or applying Balanced Scorecards across diverse business units.
- Familiarity with Mercer IPE and/or Korn Ferry Hay job evaluation methodologies.
- Strong understanding of how Talent Management, Organizational Development, and Total Rewards interrelate.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in stakeholder management, facilitation, and influencing senior leadership.
- Analytical aptitude with commercial awareness and a keen interest in AI, automation, workforce analytics, and evolving workforce trends.
Why This Opportunity?
This role differs from traditional operational HR functions by focusing on constructing foundational people systems and influencing high-level strategic decisions that align business strategy with organizational capabilities and talent outcomes. Candidates with expertise at the convergence of Talent Management, Organizational Development, and Performance Management who have successfully developed enterprise frameworks from scratch are especially encouraged to apply.
