Job Overview
Join as a Seismic Data Processor responsible for handling seismic reflection survey data through comprehensive prestack processing stages to generate clear subsurface images that support exploration geophysicists.
Key Duties
- Execute data processing including geometry assignment, noise reduction, deconvolution, velocity assessment, residual statics correction, and migration in time and depth domains.
- Conduct quality control of field seismic records to ensure data integrity.
- Create and progressively improve velocity models to enhance subsurface imaging.
- Optimize migration parameters for accurate seismic visualization.
- Maintain detailed documentation of processing workflows to provide dependable outputs for the interpretation team.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Educational background in geophysics or a related discipline.
- Practical experience operating industry-standard seismic processing software packages.
- Strong understanding of signal processing principles applied to seismic data.
