Role Overview and Key Duties
The Security Officer will maintain a visible security presence on client premises to ensure the safety and positive experience of customers and the general public. Upholding the company's professional standards and the Private Security Authority (PSA) conduct code is crucial in this role.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide effective security presence at client locations to safeguard individuals and property.
- Act professionally as a company representative, adhering to PSA code of conduct standards.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of a current and valid PSA license is mandatory.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
- Keen attention to detail and the aptitude to work independently.
- Experience operating CCTV monitoring systems.
- Ability to provide a detailed, clear five-year employment history with references.
- Strong communication capabilities and competence in report writing.
- Willingness to work varied hours as required.
- Demonstrated prior experience in retail security is necessary.
- Flexibility in working arrangements is required.
