Cleaner

Role Overview

As a Cleaner, you will ensure the upkeep and hygiene standards across various locations, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.

Primary Duties

• Carry out routine cleaning including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitation of frequently touched surfaces, toilet cleaning, descaling, and window washing
• Sanitize and maintain restrooms, kitchen areas, and commonly used spaces
• Collect and dispose of rubbish and recycling materials properly
• Restock supplies like soap, toilet paper, and paper towels as needed
• Operate and maintain cleaning tools and equipment correctly
• Adhere to health and safety protocols, including COSHH regulations
• Promptly report any maintenance or repair requirements to supervisory staff
• Work collaboratively within a team to complete assigned tasks efficiently
• Regularly inspect areas to ensure they remain clean and presentable

Candidate Profile

• Must have valid authorization to work within the EU
• Exhibit a positive, proactive work attitude
• Strong attention to detail for consistent cleanliness quality
• Capable of working independently as well as cooperatively in teams
• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with coworkers and supervisors
• Dependable and punctual with solid work ethics
• Basic knowledge of health and safety standards
