About The Role
We are looking for a well-organized and driven person to become part of our security team as a CCTV Operator. This role offers a great opportunity to work within a large venue alongside a professional and highly trained security team. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and security of visitors and the premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain clear and precise communication of all pertinent information.
- Follow proper incident escalation protocols and keep detailed running logs.
- Deploy security personnel effectively to address incidents and concerns as they arise.
- Operate the CCTV system proactively, perform daily risk assessments of site activities, and keep accurate CCTV records.
- Manage systems including fire alarms, public address (PA) systems, video management systems (VMS), intruder and panic alarms, building management systems (BMS), automatic number plate recognition (ANPR), as well as radio and telephone communications.
- Execute emergency procedures in alignment with the venue’s Incident and Emergency Plan.
- Document incidents thoroughly, including complaints and events potentially involving criminal activity, with professionalism and accuracy.
Candidate Requirements
- Must legally have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
- Possess a PSA CCTV or Door Supervisor Licence.
- Awareness of the ACT (Assaults on CCT Operators) regulations.
- Successful completion of SCaN training for CCTV Operators.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
