Security Integrations Senior Engineer

Position Overview

The role involves participating in the deployment and configuration of new technology within BT Security integration systems, along with evaluating existing processes to ensure robust and scalable implementations that align with Riyad Bank's business needs and BT policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to departmental policies, processes, and procedures to maintain controlled and consistent workflows.
• Manage daily operational tasks to ensure seamless continuity.
• Engage in research, design, development, and application of enterprise-wide network security solutions that enhance overall security posture.
• Conduct security analysis and testing for implementing cutting-edge secure systems.
• Review security integrations and recommend strategic improvements in cybersecurity and network instrumentation.
• Oversee maintenance, sustainability, and advanced configuration of all BT Security infrastructure.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and use cases.
• Design solutions balancing business technology demands with cybersecurity needs.
• Participate in Proof of Concept activities, acquisition, and evaluation of new security products and technologies.
• Ensure alignment of standards, frameworks, and security policies with BT deployment plans.
• Maintain and update the security integration architecture continuously.
• Provide prompt troubleshooting assistance for security integration operational problems.
• Deliver timely, courteous support ensuring satisfaction of internal and external customers.
• Lead and mentor team members, facilitating knowledge transfer and best practices.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements by benchmarking international best practices, reducing costs, and enhancing efficiency.
• Support preparation of accurate and punctual reports complying with company and departmental standards.
• Comply fully with safety, environmental, and quality management policies to sustain a safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the department’s roles and responsibilities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in cybersecurity operations or equivalent credentials.
• Between 4 to 6 years of pertinent industry experience.

Technical Expertise

• Strong understanding of banking systems and application environments.
• Familiarity with banking operations and business requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of information security principles, tools, and systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages and systems utilized within the bank.
• Thorough knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and its components.
• Understanding of network security architectures including topologies and protocols.
• Awareness of network risks, cyber attack methodologies, and interplay between threats and vulnerabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE), cyber threats, and defenses.
• Experience reviewing security configurations for databases, servers, firewalls, switches, and routers.
• Hands-on experience in network, web application, and web service penetration testing plus secure code reviews.
• Strong command of operating systems such as Windows and Linux, including system and network hardening techniques.
• Advanced understanding of Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) actors, their tools, and tactics.
• Expertise in cyber threat intelligence analysis frameworks such as the Cyber Kill Chain and Mitre ATT&CK.
