Key Responsibilities

As a Security Architect, you will collaborate closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver expert security guidance and architect secure solutions for business initiatives and technology projects. Your work will span multiple technologies including cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, container management and orchestration tools, along with automation frameworks. Driving secure architectural evolution and reviewing existing security capabilities to propose improvements will be central to your role.

Required Experience and Skills

• Over 10 years of experience in technical design and architecture, supplemented by at least 7 years focusing on security within large enterprise environments.
• Proven expertise in designing, configuring, and managing security controls and solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Knowledge of security architecture design principles, both logical and physical.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and methodologies such as SABSA, NIST 800-53, Open FAIR, MITRE ATT&CK/D3FEND, and threat modeling.
• Hands-on experience working with public cloud environments (AWS and/or GCP), containerization technologies including Kubernetes, and related tools.
• Valuable exposure to security engineering practices, API security, infrastructure-as-code, continuous integration/deployment pipelines, automation, and software development.
• Comfort working within Agile methodologies.
• Strong awareness of vendor technology landscapes, current IT industry trends and emerging innovations.
