About the Role
Join the Reliability Technology team as a Principal Site Reliability Engineer, where you will utilize your profound technical expertise and practical approach to software design and architecture to lead and inspire the engineering workforce. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction of the engineering team in line with the company's strategic objectives and set ambitious technical goals.
- Design and supervise the development of scalable, resilient, and secure systems.
- Promote and enforce engineering best practices and coding standards across the team.
- Mentor engineering team members to enhance growth and technical excellence, including conducting code reviews.
- Advocate for improvements in systems and processes, and integrate emerging technologies with a particular emphasis on artificial intelligence.
- Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical strategies and solutions.
- Ensure systems operate reliably, securely, and comply with relevant regulations while managing incidents and encouraging continuous enhancements.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as an engineering technical leader with expertise in developing scalable, secure, and resilient systems in dynamic environments.
- Strong proficiency in software design, architecture, and modern development methodologies.
- Successful history of designing, building, and maintaining complex high-performance systems at scale, with foresight into extensibility and scalability.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in motivating high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture that values collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.
- Skillful in translating business needs into effective technical solutions while anticipating future growth and adaptability.
