Role Summary

As a Scriptwriter for Eaglevision's Tamil Productions, you will develop creative concepts and scripts tailored for both television and digital channels. Your responsibilities will span devising programme proposals, scripting diverse content genres, and preparing compelling pitches to management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop original content ideas suited for TV and digital media platforms.
• Conduct thorough research and craft programme proposals for various formats including single episodes, serial dramas, info-educational, and entertainment shows in Tamil.
• Write scripts across various genres such as dramas, children’s programming, informational-educational content, entertainment, interstitials, trailers, and digital story uploads.
• Prepare concept presentations for pitching to stakeholders and management.
• Create both individual episode storylines and overarching series narratives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Media, Communication, Creative Writing, or a related field.
• Demonstrate excellent writing and scripting skills.
• Have between 3 to 5 years of professional experience in writing and script development.
• Strong passion and understanding of television and media industries.
• Proficient in English and Tamil for business communication.
• Ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all organizational levels and with the general public.
