Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Scaffolders to join bridge maintenance projects. Responsibilities include assembling, adjusting, and dismantling scaffolding systems to ensure secure access for various bridge inspections, repairs, and restoration activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct, alter, and disassemble scaffolding structures such as towers, platforms, guardrails, and access frameworks.
• Adhere to approved engineering drawings, method statements, and directions from supervisors.
• Guarantee that scaffolding assemblies are stable, adequately supported, and safely anchored throughout use.
• Perform daily inspections and report any structural deficiencies or safety hazards promptly.
• Assist with the transportation, loading, and systematic arrangement of scaffolding components.
• Facilitate bridge maintenance tasks, including concrete repairs, inspections, and painting, by ensuring safe access provision.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess 3 to 5 years of scaffolding experience within construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Prior involvement in bridge maintenance or highway projects is advantageous.
• Capable of working at heights and operating in outdoor environments.
• Fundamental understanding of the procedures for scaffold assembly, dismantling, and associated safety standards.
• Holding certifications such as CISRS, OSHA, or an equivalent is preferred.
• Physically robust and able to manage heavy scaffolding materials safely.

Additional Details

• Experience working on UAE infrastructure or bridge projects is an asset.
• Knowledge of modular scaffolding and tube-and-fitting systems is beneficial.
