Maintenance Planner - Power Generation

About the Role

Join a prominent industrial company in the Transition Fuels and energy sector located on Australia's beautiful east coast. This critical position centers on efficiently planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to enhance plant dependability, safety, and effectiveness.

The role integrates maintenance planning, computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) administration, shutdown planning, and inventory control within a high-performance operations environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and organize scheduled, corrective, and outage maintenance tasks.
• Maintain and update CMMS data including records and master maintenance data, alongside generating daily, weekly, and trend-focused maintenance reports.
• Administer site stores by monitoring inventory levels and managing stock replenishment processes.
• Oversee coordination of parts, materials, and contractor requirements.
• Facilitate the safe, efficient, and regulation-compliant execution of maintenance work.

Selection Criteria

• Possession of a mechanical or electrical trade certification complemented by pertinent maintenance planning experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in CMMS and Microsoft Project software.
• Experience in maintenance planning within power generation or heavy industrial sectors.
• A strong emphasis on safety, excellent communication, and organizational abilities.
