Job Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections of mechanical equipment, systems, and components to verify quality, safety, and adherence to required standards and specifications.
• Inspect mechanical installations such as piping, HVAC systems, and industrial machinery in detail.
• Spot and document defects, non-conformances, and potential mechanical issues during site visits.
• Compile detailed inspection reports and keep accurate and organized records of all findings.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems.
• Confirm that corrective measures have been properly and promptly implemented.
• Remain informed about the latest industry regulations, standards, and best inspection practices.
• Participate actively in project meetings offering technical guidance related to mechanical aspects.
• Ensure strict compliance with all safety procedures on site during inspections and related activities.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least seven years of relevant experience in mechanical inspection or similar roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
• In-depth understanding of building construction, materials, mechanical systems, and industry practices.
• Competent using relevant computer software applications necessary for the job.
• Capable of working independently while adapting to dynamic work conditions.
• Strong multitasking ability, prioritization skills, and project planning expertise.
• Experienced collaborating with contractors and other on-site parties.
• Team player who is proactive, well-organized, and solution-oriented.
• Effective at managing time and tasks efficiently.
