Role Overview
We invite applications from meticulous and analytical Risk Analysts to join our team in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. This position entails identifying, evaluating, and mitigating various organizational risks across different business units. The successful candidate will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to produce detailed risk assessments, implement risk management frameworks, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Strong analytical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a dedication to professional excellence are critical for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough risk assessments to identify threats and vulnerabilities in business processes.
- Plan and execute Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) using project schedules and related parameters.
- Conduct Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis (QCRA) using detailed cost data and uncertainties.
- Apply Monte Carlo simulations to assess cost exposure and establish contingency levels like P50, P80, and P90.
- Use Active Risk Manager software to maintain risk registers and models, track mitigation actions, and generate reports and dashboards.
- Develop cost and schedule risk models in Excel with Palisade @RISK, utilizing probability distributions and performing simulation analyses.
- Prepare and analyze risk models in Primavera Risk Analysis, including critical path and schedule driver evaluations.
- Evaluate financial information and business metrics to understand risk exposures and identify trends.
- Produce comprehensive risk reports and presentations targeted at senior leadership and involved parties.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal risk policies.
- Collaborate with department leaders to understand operational risks and advise on mitigation methods.
- Perform both quantitative and qualitative risk modeling with appropriate tools and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Risk Management, Construction Management, or related fields.
- At least five years of experience in project risk management, controls, or quantitative risk analysis.
- Hands-on experience conducting both QSRA and QCRA.
- Proficiency using Active Risk Manager (ARM).
- Advanced skills in Palisade @RISK software.
- Strong experience with Primavera Risk Analysis (PRA) tools.
- Familiarity with Monte Carlo simulation and probabilistic risk modeling approaches.
- Sound knowledge of project schedules, cost estimates, risk registers, and project control mechanisms.
- Ability to analyze probability distributions, confidence intervals, risk drivers, sensitivities, and exposures.
- Preferred: Experience with Primavera P6 and integration of scheduling data into risk models.
- Preferred: Background in major infrastructure, construction, energy, oil & gas, transportation sectors.
- Preferred: Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-RMP, APM, IRM or equal.
- Preferred: Understanding of ISO 31000 and established risk management standards.
- Preferred: Experience in managing project contingencies and risk-based forecasting.
