As a Protective Intelligence Analyst based at Milton Keynes office, you will play a crucial role in identifying and counteracting security threats through detailed analysis and providing strategic insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle an assigned sector "desk" to manage the gathering, processing, and evaluation of data for intelligence products that support internal stakeholders and clients commercially.
  • Continuously monitor global events to detect significant issues, assess potential impacts, and assist clients in preempting risks.
  • Create comprehensive intelligence briefs covering the full process from collection to dissemination related to risks impacting people, property, and assets worldwide.
  • Track and recognize emerging trends and risk indicators using intelligence tools, research, and manual data collection.
  • Apply established intelligence methodologies to interpret information and offer reasoned judgments that facilitate proactive decisions.
  • Produce quality intelligence outputs independently or in collaboration with senior analysts, including alerts, reports, assessments, investigations, and presentations.
  • Share intelligence findings internally within Securitas and externally with UK and international clients.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements by evaluating results and maintaining high consistency, quality, and best practices in intelligence deliveries.
  • Develop and refine intelligence sources, methods, and processes, staying current with industry innovations and emerging standards.
  • Collaborate productively with RIC colleagues and the broader Securitas organization, including customer-facing teams and global partners.
  • Operate with integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness, adhering closely to risk, safety, and compliance standards.

Candidate Requirements

  • Eligibility to work permanently in the UK with a verified employment history of at least five years or acceptable documentation of any unemployment periods.
  • Residence within a 45-minute commute to the Milton Keynes office or willingness to relocate accordingly.
  • Preferably have between one and two years’ experience in an intelligence or related analytical capacity.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal, for delivering intelligence analyses to diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills capable of professional and constructive communication within a collaborative team.
  • Effective prioritization and time management skills to meet deadlines while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Securitas's core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

Professional Competencies

  • Takes ownership, strives for excellence, and delivers sustainable outcomes.
  • Respects others, empowers colleagues, leads by example, and actively participates in giving and receiving feedback.
  • Encourages innovation, seeks growth opportunities, promotes collaboration, and appreciates diverse perspectives.

Additional Information

  • Role includes shifts working 4 days on, 4 days off from 07:00 to 19:00.
  • Annual salary ranges from £30,000 to £35,000 based on skills and experience.
  • The RIC is currently located at Unity Place, Central Milton Keynes, with plans to relocate to The Park MK in Wavendon during early 2027.
  • The recruitment process includes multiple stages such as a written test and in-person interview.
  • Successful applicants may be included in a talent pool for future opportunities even if not selected for the current vacancy.
  • Securitas fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace, recognized as a Level 2 Disability Confident Employer.
