Job Overview
We are currently seeking a Security Officer for a secure location in Reading. This position offers a dependable, permanent role with consistent hours during weekdays and weekends, no night shifts, and competitive pay.
Primary Responsibilities
- Control and manage access for staff, visitors, and contractors.
- Perform regular site patrols and thorough security checks.
- Ensure the security and safety of the environment.
- Respond promptly to incidents and security issues.
- Complete detailed reports and maintain accurate site documentation.
- Maintain a professional and approachable presence on site.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence.
- Exhibit a professional and dependable work ethic.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to keep composure under pressure situations.
- Have at least a 5-year verifiable work or education history.
- Eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC level).
