SAP Technical Lead – Power, Digital & Infrastructure

Overview

We are looking for a seasoned SAP Technical Lead to spearhead technical solutions in SAP for Power, Digital, and Infrastructure projects based in Doha, Qatar. This role demands expertise in SAP technical architecture, development, system integration, and performance management within power, energy, construction, and EPC sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee SAP technical architecture, including development and integration efforts.
• Manage S/4HANA and ECC platform technical solutions, including ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Design and handle APIs, middleware, and integrative interface solutions.
• Direct SAP system upgrades, migrations, enhancements, and technical deployments.
• Maintain optimal SAP system performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with functional teams to convert business needs into technical specifications.
• Review technical designs, standards, and integration strategies ensuring compliance with SAP best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues through root cause analysis and performance improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate efforts among corporate IT, vendors, consultants, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to SAP governance, security policies, and documentation standards.
• Support digital transformation strategies related to Power, Infrastructure, Construction, and EPC operations.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or similar discipline.
• Extensive expertise in SAP technical architecture for S/4HANA and ECC environments.
• Proficiency in ABAP programming, Fiori/UI5 development, SAP BTP, API management, and integration frameworks.
• Working knowledge of SAP Basis, database administration, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and system performance tuning.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving capabilities, effective communication, and stakeholder management experience.
• SAP certifications would be considered a strong advantage.
