IT Supervisor

Position Overview

As an IT Supervisor, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving technical issues related to computer software and systems. The role requires providing expert technical advice to solve business challenges, suggesting and implementing process enhancements, and operating various hardware and peripheral equipment efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, support, and manage software applications and user accounts.
• Maintain detailed records of daily data, communication transactions, encountered problems, remedial actions, and installation tasks.
• Train users on proper hardware and software usage.
• Plan, design, and direct telecommunications operations including client/server support and resource allocation.
• Consult on administrative policies, technical challenges, task prioritization, and telecommunications procedures.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, disciplining, motivating, and coaching staff.
• Foster a positive work environment by supporting teamwork and responding professionally to colleagues' concerns.
• Adhere to company policies and safeguard company assets.
• Communicate clearly and professionally.
• Ensure quality standards are met and identify opportunities to enhance organizational efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
• Verify information visually and operate computer and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Perform physical tasks including moving or lifting objects up to 10 pounds unassisted.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical, trade, or vocational school diploma.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in related technical fields.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• No licenses or certifications necessary.
