Job Overview
We seek a proficient SAP ME/MII & Java Senior Support Engineer based in Hyderabad, India, with 6 to 8 years of experience. This role involves application support, development, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancement of manufacturing execution and MES technologies.
Core Responsibilities and Skills
- Provide expert support and continuous improvement for SAP Manufacturing Execution (SAP ME) and SAP Manufacturing Integration & Intelligence (SAP MII) applications.
- Develop and troubleshoot Java-based solutions employing JDK 17+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Utilize SAP UI5, Kepware, and SAP Plant Connectivity (PCo) for integration and interface management.
- Implement Spring Boot modules including Web, Data JPA, and Security with OAuth2 authorization.
- Apply software best practices including use of Maven for builds, unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
- Manage containerization and orchestration tools including Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, and Kaniko for deployments.
- Leverage GitLab Source Code Management, CI/CD pipelines, and JFrog Artifactory for version control and artifact management.
- Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Neo4J to manage manufacturing data.
- Support cloud-hosted environments particularly in Microsoft Azure.
- Adopt Agile, Scrum, and SAFe frameworks for project management using tools like Jira Cloud and Jira Align.
- Ensure software quality and security using SonarQube, Black Duck, and vulnerability management practices.
- Create and maintain robust documentation using Confluence or Atlassian Wiki platforms.
