Overview
Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. is looking to hire experienced NetApp Storage Administrators for their Bangalore and Mumbai-Navi locations. The ideal candidates should have between 5 to 15 years of experience in managing and deploying NetApp storage solutions alongside related technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and administer NetApp Storage systems including CDOT and 7-Mode architectures.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and conduct firmware and OS upgrades.
- Utilize storage management tools such as OnCommand Unified Manager, Performance Manager, and Insight for operational efficiency.
- Manage backup integrations leveraging NetApp technologies.
- Administer Snapshots, controller failover, deduplication, cloning, Snapmirror, and IntelliSnap functionalities.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize storage replication, security hardening, and performance tuning.
- Handle data migration from third-party vendors to NetApp systems at host and application levels.
- Administer and troubleshoot Brocade and Cisco SAN switches, including SAN zoning and firmware upgrades.
- Apply strong knowledge of storage protocols such as Fiber Channel, CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, and S3 Object Storage.
- Utilize automation tools like NetApp Workflow Automation and Ansible, and write basic PowerShell and Python scripts.
- Implement ITIL methodologies encompassing change, incident, problem, and configuration management.
- Administer Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Work with monitoring platforms, WANs, SANs, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain robust relationships.
- Engage in infrastructure design, build, deployment, and disaster recovery testing procedures.
- Understand infrastructure components such as NetApp/Cisco Flex pod architecture, Cisco UCS platform, IBM Blade Center, System X, VMWare vSphere, Microsoft Operating Systems, and Commvault.
