Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with hands-on expertise in S/4HANA systems to join our team. You will engage in development tasks including enhancements, exits, and technical implementations. Collaboration with functional teams to convert requirements into effective technical solutions is essential. The role emphasizes advanced development using SAPUI5/Fiori, CDS views, RAP model, and cloud-based SAP technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP ABAP solutions within S/4HANA, including extensions and exits.
• Work closely with functional analysts to translate business needs into detailed technical specifications.
• Design and create scalable SAPUI5 (Freestyle) web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and SAP Fiori Elements, employing templates such as List Reports, Object Pages, and Overview Pages driven by CDS metadata annotations.
• Customize and extend standard SAP Fiori applications through Fiori Adaptation Projects.
• Integrate front-end architectures with SAP backend by consuming and resolving issues in OData v2/v4 services.
• Implement SAP Cloud Application Programming Model solutions, developing decoupled microservices using Node.js or Java on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Utilize SAP BTP to build custom services interacting with S/4HANA APIs, maintaining ERP system integrity for upgrades.
• Create and optimize various CDS Views (Basic, Composite, Consumption) to support analytics, Fiori applications, and OData services.
• Support development of SAP Fiori apps leveraging CDS-based OData services and RAP patterns.
• Expose APIs (OData V2/V4, GraphQL) to integrate external data sources with SAP environments.
• Migrate legacy procedural programs (reports, Web Dynpros) into modern, event-driven RAP services suitable for cloud deployment.
• Manage application repositories with Git workflows, automated testing, and agile deployment processes.
• Possess solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, Adobe Forms, RFC, Workflow, BADI, IDOC, BAPI, web services, and user exits.
• Participate in SAP system upgrades and patch support; provide technical guidance and support to team members.
• Handle design, coding, documentation, unit testing, troubleshooting, and defect resolution in SAP S/4 HANA Retail modules.
• Respond promptly to incident tickets per defined SLAs and adapt to changing business priorities with commitment and ownership.

Required Qualifications

• At least 6 years of professional experience in SAP S/4 HANA ABAP development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related analytical field.
• Mandatory certification in ABAP for SAP S/4 HANA.
• Deep experience with SAP S/4 HANA technologies including Fiori, UI5, CDS, RAP, and CAP.
• Sound understanding of business processes in SAP modules SD, MM, and FI including their enhancements.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex or technical information to diverse audiences.
