Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned FDM4 Developer with deep expertise in Progress OpenEdge ABL programming and related technologies to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in development using Progress OpenEdge ABL and 4GL, coupled with object-oriented programming skills and familiarity with databases and ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities and Experience
- Develop and maintain applications using Progress OpenEdge ABL with over 8 years of hands-on experience.
- Leverage comprehensive knowledge of OpenEdge RDBMS and proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming, including OOPS concepts and SQL.
- Utilize server-side programming expertise in any object-oriented language such as Java or Python for backend development.
- Enhance application functionality by employing Progress AppServer and Progress Database technologies (preferred).
- Utilize web development skills including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to contribute to front-end features (beneficial).
- Apply prior experience working with ERP systems to integrate and optimize application performance.
- Adopt and champion Agile methodologies throughout the software development life cycle.
- Utilize tools like Postman for API testing and integration.
- Independently solve complex technical problems and contribute as an individual contributor.
