Role Overview

We are seeking dedicated professionals for our Sample Preparation Department's evening shift (15:30 – 00:00) from Monday to Friday. This role involves managing sample processing workflows within our lab and ensuring timely, quality-driven delivery in coordination with the supervisory and lab teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the processing of incoming samples, ensuring workflow efficiency and proper preparation.
  • Maintain production targets within scheduled turnaround times.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Promptly identify and resolve internal and external issues impacting sample processing.
  • Adhere strictly to established procedures and quality standards to maintain analytical integrity.
  • Follow all safety protocols and comply with health and safety policies of ALS.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Basic mechanical skills and aptitude.
  • Highly organized with strong motivation and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to quality assurance and workplace safety.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Efficient in managing large workloads while meeting critical deadlines.
  • Intermediate proficiency in English communication, both written and spoken.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods while conducting tasks.
  • Manual dexterity necessary for repetitive handling duties.
  • Ability to be clean-shaven to properly fit protective gear.
