Role Overview
As a Sales Manager, you will present diverse solutions ranging from technically intricate to bespoke high-end systems. You will engage in consultative selling predominantly to director-level and above clients, collaborating closely with internal technical, business, and functional teams.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate intimately with project teams during pre-sales and tender phases.
- Identify and cultivate new opportunities by developing strategic sales with distinguished customers including end users, consultants, and contractors.
- Build and nurture enduring customer relationships.
- Enhance brand visibility by preparing and delivering professional technical seminars, presentations, and product demonstrations to consultants, developers, and end users, advising on feasible solutions tailored to project needs.
Execution Strategy
- Leverage comprehensive technical expertise to guide consultants, developers, and end users on designs, specifications, and budgets.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, and Supply Chain teams to ensure proposals incorporate technical solutions that meet customer requirements and align with corporate strategies.
- Develop essential design, technical, and marketing resources supporting both existing and new client solutions.
- Maintain meticulous records of target opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts, and communications using approved company databases to refine sales forecasts.
- Operate as a proactive, hunter-driven salesperson focused on cultivating strong client relationships and spearheading territorial growth within a collaborative team environment.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Engineering disciplines such as process, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
- Bring at least six years of sales engineering experience, with a minimum of three years specifically in technical sales or business development within semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries.
- Demonstrate expertise and technical know-how regarding cleanroom and HVAC system design.
- Experience in tender development, pricing, and costing, along with familiarity with GMP guidelines and validation processes such as IQ, OQ, PQ.
- Exhibit excellent presentation and persuasion abilities with strong communication skills capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Work independently with self-motivation.
- Show a proactive, driven, persistent, innovative, and consistent approach to job responsibilities.
- Possess superior planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
