Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate leads using various channels such as social media, industry events, and databases, serving as a pioneer in uncovering new market opportunities and directly influencing the sales pipeline.
- Engage prospects through calls, emails, and professional platforms by introducing Forcepoint’s products and acting as a trusted consultant throughout their cybersecurity journey.
- Evaluate and qualify prospects by understanding their challenges and needs, asking pertinent questions, and recommending personalized solutions.
- Schedule appointments to connect potential clients with sales executives for product demonstrations, playing a crucial role in driving sales growth.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to refine strategies and enhance personal skill sets.
- Maintain detailed records of prospect interactions and regularly report on lead generation activities and outcomes.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in sales or lead generation roles, ideally within the cybersecurity sector.
Skills
- Strong foundational knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in research techniques to discover potential leads.
- Experienced in CRM software and sales enablement tools.
- Highly self-driven and goal-focused with a proactive mindset toward lead sourcing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuit or possession of certifications related to cybersecurity or sales such as CompTIA Security+ or Certified Sales Development Representative.
- Background in cybersecurity sales is advantageous.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies and industry best practices is a plus.
