Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Territory Account Manager responsible for driving new business growth. This pivotal role requires a self-driven individual aiming to surpass targets and expand the territory. You will join a collaborative team with strong leadership, where competitive success is balanced with an enjoyable environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the initiation and expansion of accounts through B2B sales of Forcepoint’s software licenses, hardware, and services.
- Collaborate with the Regional Director to craft and execute detailed territory and opportunity plans aligned with company objectives and sales quotas.
- Coordinate effectively with internal sales units including Sales Engineers, Channel Partners, Solutions Sales teams, and executives to implement account strategies.
- Utilize the CRM system diligently to manage sales forecasts, develop opportunities, and ensure timely closures.
- Drive revenue generation utilizing complex, multi-channel sales strategies, managing all stages of the sales cycle.
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets and quotas.
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience as a proactive "hunter" in IT software sales, specifically security software and network technologies.
- Strong track record in relationship building and new business development.
- Experience managing and growing key accounts with ownership responsibility.
- Consistent achievement in meeting or surpassing sales quotas.
- Comfortable engaging and presenting to C-level and executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work with both channel partners and direct business development.
- Proficient in collaborating with internal technical sales resources and coordinating external partnerships.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as TAS and SPIN.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Experience operating across multiple vertical markets.
- Strong analytical and forecasting abilities.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication, complemented by skilled presentation capabilities.
