Overview
The Business Development Representative (BDR) at A-LIGN plays a vital role in both independent and team-driven efforts to generate leads and acquire clients. The core responsibility is pinpointing and qualifying sales prospects to support the senior sales team’s efforts, contributing to the ongoing expansion of this rapidly growing cybersecurity compliance company.
Reporting
The BDR reports directly to the Business Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new business prospects to maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Conduct detailed research and develop targeted accounts for prospecting initiatives.
- Engage in cold calling and follow-up communications.
- Interact effectively with potential clients to build relationships.
- Qualify business opportunities to uncover leads.
- Quickly adapt to the dynamic and fast-moving corporate environment.
Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
- Involvement in university sales or pertinent clubs supporting business development.
- Understand basic sales cycles and techniques.
- Strong capability to foster client relationships and navigate objections.
