HERO is a SaaS company dedicated to developing digital tools that enhance efficiency and success for tradespeople both in the office and on site.
As the initial point of contact for prospective clients, you will build genuine relationships, identify needs, and coordinate qualified meetings or demonstrations for the sales team. Although based in Hamburg, you will work onsite and participate regularly in collaborative teamwork supported by modern office environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate contact with potential clients actively via phone, email, and social media, often serving as their first point of interaction with HERO.
- Engage with craft businesses to ask insightful questions and develop a deep understanding of their workflows, challenges, and operational needs.
- Detect the specific requirements and interests of potential clients.
- Establish trustworthy and professional relationships with decision-makers, maintaining approachability and equality-based communication.
- Qualify leads thoroughly to recognize companies that align well with HERO's products and market focus.
- Schedule qualified initial meetings and product demonstrations for the account executives, contributing significantly to the sales cycle.
- Maintain detailed, accurate client interaction records and lead information within Salesforce to ensure clarity and efficient lead management.
- Analyze the craft market continuously and collaborate with the team to create targeted outreach strategies that resonate with the audience.
- Leverage modern tools, automation, and AI technologies to plan outreach efficiently, prioritize leads, and refine processes consistently.
- Participate regularly in office collaboration in Hamburg, fostering a positive, open, and learning team culture.
Candidate Profile
- Enjoy outbound sales activities with an emphasis on phone communication, demonstrating determination, persistence, and a positive attitude.
- Possess a genuine interest in the crafts sector and its business challenges, with a willingness to immerse in understanding client operations and decision-making.
- Preferably have prior contact or experience with the trades, customer interactions, or related professional exposure, highlighting eagerness to learn if not.
- Exhibit strong customer orientation, able to establish professional yet approachable and trustworthy first contacts.
- Communicate clearly and persuasively, delivering presentations with structure, ease, and a touch of humor.
- Work independently, managing appointments reliably and organizing preparation and follow-up meticulously.
- Keep thorough documentation in Salesforce to maintain transparency and data quality during the sales cycle's early stage.
- Be open to adopting new technologies, including integrating AI tools and automations into daily work routines for smarter outcomes.
- Have excellent German language skills (minimum C1) and good English proficiency (at least B1).
- Enjoy teamwork and regular in-person collaboration in the Hamburg office.
Benefits
- Flexible and mobile work supported by a 29 Euro monthly subsidy for a Germany-wide public transport ticket.
- 30 vacation days per year including Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve plus extra leave for special occasions such as weddings, moving, or births.
- One volunteer day annually for social projects you care about.
- Fitness opportunities including company bike programs and access to Hansefit or EGYM Wellpass sports offerings.
- Access to mental health support services from Bloom.
- Additional company health insurance coverage through Allianz.
- Monthly professional shoulder and neck massage available at the Hamburg office.
- Annual personal training budget of 800 Euros for courses, books, or coaching.
- Regular feedback and development meetings to support career progression with a clear HERO career plan.
- Exciting summer and Christmas parties as well as frequent team events.
