Role Overview
We are seeking a driven and skilled Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to enhance our expanding team. This role focuses on transforming leads into qualified prospects within the Machine Learning and AI vertical by collaborating closely with marketing and sales through outbound lead generation campaigns. Excellence in outbound communication, lead qualification, and consultative sales is crucial, as well as partnering tightly with Account Executives to initiate new sales opportunities. This position thrives in a highly dynamic, collaborative environment encouraging career advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop prospective sales opportunities from target accounts and marketing leads.
- Engage continuously with prospects through customized email communication and Zoom calls with high attention to detail.
- Regularly meet or exceed qualified meeting quotas contributing to quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Maintain thorough records of lead qualification and activity using Salesforce CRM.
- Quickly become proficient in CoreWeave’s products, articulate the value proposition effectively, and address objections and competitor questions.
- Conduct detailed account research to stimulate new opportunities and interest.
- Stay well-informed on target markets and industry trends.
Qualifications and Experience
- 1 to 2 years of experience in business development or sales roles.
- Proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales goals.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce or equivalent CRM platforms is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of SDR and lead management best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, adaptable environment.
Preferred Attributes
- Ability to excel in a competitive sales setting.
- Previous experience in technology startups highly regarded.
- Familiarity with Cloud technologies.
- Experience with sales engagement tools such as Salesloft or Outreach.
