Role Overview
The Business Development division at Guidepoint is focused on broadening the company's connections with both prospective and existing customers by supporting multiple service lines. They drive tailored solutions designed to optimize partnerships. The Sales Development Representative serves an important function in expanding Guidepoint’s business with major organizations, including Fortune 500 companies and startups, mainly within the London region. This hybrid position involves working from the London office.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential clients, conveying Guidepoints value proposition through phone and email communication.
- Develop and maintain relationships to arrange meetings between clients and senior sales managers.
- Analyze organizations to pinpoint target groups and relevant job roles.
- Leverage Guidepoints brand reputation to build a strong pipeline of qualified leads aimed at supporting commercial growth.
- Conduct industry and company research to ascertain information needs and pain points.
- Collaborate with senior sales colleagues to create compelling materials for prospect meetings and effectively articulate value propositions.
- Acquire in-depth understanding of the competitive market landscape.
- Relay client and prospect feedback to sales teams and management for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree with strong academic performance and active participation in extracurricular activities.
- At least one year of experience in a client-facing role such as sales, account management, or client relations.
- Energetic personality comfortable with cold calling and communicating with professionals at all levels, including senior executives.
- Team-oriented mindset capable of collaborating within dynamic environments.
- Skill in prioritizing business development opportunities effectively.
- Strong analytical thinking and critical reasoning capabilities.
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
