Overview
Guidepoint's Business Development team is dedicated to expanding its client network, supporting all service offerings by fostering relationships and demonstrating how Guidepoint aids clients in making informed business decisions. This role focuses on developing tailored solutions to maximize client partnerships.
The team seeks an entry-level Business Development Associate to help grow business with major corporate players including Fortune 500 companies and startups in the region. This hybrid position is based in Guidepoint's London office, and applicants must have authorization to work in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective clients, promoting Guidepoint’s value via email and phone communications.
- Establish and nurture relationships by coordinating meetings with clients and senior sales managers.
- Analyze companies to pinpoint target groups and relevant job roles.
- Leverage Guidepoint’s brand to build a strong pipeline of qualified leads to support commercial growth.
- Conduct research on target industries and companies to understand their research needs and challenges.
- Collaborate with senior sales staff to create compelling content for prospect meetings, effectively conveying Guidepoint's offerings.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive market environment.
- Gather and relay feedback from clients and prospects to sales and management teams.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a bachelor’s degree with a notable academic and extracurricular record.
- At least one year of experience in client-facing roles such as sales, account, or client management.
- Outgoing personality with confidence to initiate cold calls and communicate with professionals across seniority levels, including executives.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
- Capability to prioritize development opportunities strategically.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- High attention to detail and thoroughness in work.
