About the Role
Our client operates a platform that transforms telecom infrastructure into a unified, easy-to-use API, enabling brands to integrate SIMs, eSIMs, and data directly into their products and launch quickly. Their global platform supports over 600 carrier networks in more than 200 countries and serves major sectors including financial services, fintech, and travel. The company is rapidly expanding its UK commercial team to capitalize on market growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify leads through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and targeted email campaigns.
- Research and target accounts to engage appropriate senior decision-makers.
- Evaluate prospects in line with the ideal customer profile and uncover their challenges, priorities, and opportunities.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the technology, market trends, and the company's value proposition.
- Schedule meetings and transfer well-qualified opportunities with detailed context to the sales team.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and update prospect information promptly.
- Follow up on campaign responses, event leads, and inbound inquiries.
- Collaborate with the Go-To-Market Engineering team, leveraging data, AI, and automation to optimize account and contact targeting.
- Represent the company at conferences and various industry events.
Candidate Profile
- Strong interest in sales, business development, and technology sectors.
- Positive attitude, resilience, eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
- Competitive spirit with a proactive approach to initiate contact and engage prospects.
- Excellent communication skills and relationship-building capabilities.
- Confidence in initiating phone conversations with new contacts.
- Curiosity about customer purchasing motivations.
- Familiarity and comfort with AI-driven tools for research, prospecting, and productivity enhancements.
Preferred Experience
- Previous roles in sales, business development, or any position driven by targets.
- Experience or exposure to SaaS, technology, fintech, financial services, or travel industries.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, LinkedIn, or other prospecting tools.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary of £40,000 with an OTE of £80,000.
- Uncapped commission structure.
- Hybrid working model, with 2 to 3 days per week in the London office.
- 25 days of annual leave.
