Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and customer-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our New Business team. In this role, you will be a primary contact for incoming prospective customers, working to understand their needs and qualify potential sales opportunities. Your efforts will help build a robust sales pipeline and contribute to our growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess inbound leads against predetermined criteria to identify genuine sales prospects.
- Reach out to prospects using various communication channels, primarily telephone calls.
- Conduct in-depth discovery conversations to accurately understand each prospect's requirements.
- Schedule qualified meetings for the New Business closing team to progress sales.
- Keep customer and opportunity data precise and up-to-date in CRM and Outreach platforms, collaborating closely for smooth handover to sales closers.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a naturally curious and proactive mindset with a passion for engaging with people.
- Demonstrate confidence in asking insightful questions and understanding varying viewpoints to deliver appropriate solutions.
- Exhibit a positive, resilient attitude with strong motivation for achieving targets and goals.
- Have excellent communication skills coupled with sound organizational and time management abilities.
- Maintain genuine enthusiasm and drive to advance a career in sales.
- Previous customer-facing, commercial, or sales experience is advantageous but not mandatory; attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued.
- Be able to work full-time in the office located in St Albans, England.
