Sales Associate

Overview

As a Sales Associate at Staples Canada located in Bracebridge, Ontario, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, promoting sales across furniture, technology, and supplies, and contributing to the achievement of sales and margin targets by partnering with store leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer engagement by tailoring offerings to meet customers' current and future needs using established sales methods.
• Utilize the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions, including shipping and marketing conversions.
• Address and de-escalate challenging customer situations professionally; escalate to management when necessary.
• Maintain operational standards such as merchandising accuracy, signage, planograms, and stocking requirements.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of the store environment, including dusting, arranging products, and upkeep of demonstration units.
• Adhere strictly to Health & Safety, Asset Protection, and Privacy policies.

Requirements

• Preferably 3 months to 1 year of retail experience.
• Excellent communication abilities and strong dedication to customer service.
• Capability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
