Overview

The Sales Associate is entrusted with delivering an exceptional customer experience by providing top-tier sales services at Lenskart stores, contributing significantly to the store's revenue outcomes.

Key Duties

Customer Engagement

• Warmly welcome all customers visiting the store and direct them to the clinic, highlighting the availability of complimentary eye check-ups.
• Participate in inventory audits, uphold the standards of the sales floor, and execute day-to-day activities to optimize customer shopping experiences.
• Demonstrate a foundational knowledge of the Point of Sale (POS) system to ensure seamless transaction processing.
• Be committed to resolving customer concerns comprehensively, striving for complete customer satisfaction.

Product Recommendations

• Utilize information from the Optometrist and direct customer interaction to present the best product options, fostering conversations that lead to sales.
• Discern unexpressed customer needs, inquire thoughtfully, and identify the ideal moment to offer relevant product solutions.

Sales Targets and Compliance

• Meet assigned goals related to sales figures, eye-test conversions, and product returns, adhering strictly to all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Coordinate with customers for product collection upon warehouse notification, verifying lens accuracy before delivery. Address return reasons carefully to minimize return rates.

Store Maintenance

• Maintain store hygiene and presentation, including frame displays, instruments, and equipment, meeting Lenskart's standards through regular cleaning.
• Safeguard all store equipment, ensuring no loss or damage to stock and assets.

Additional Details

This position requires working six days weekly, with a rotating day off and shift schedules based on business needs. Notably, there are no night shifts.

Selected candidates will undergo a mandatory one-month offline training at a designated Lenskart Academy as part of onboarding.

Performance-related incentives are offered alongside the basic compensation.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be residents of Chennai.
• Minimum education requirement is completion of 12th grade; preference given to graduates.
• Skills needed include multitasking, adaptability, problem-solving, client relations, effective verbal and written English communication, and a customer-focused mindset.
• Applicants should demonstrate ability to build trust, understand implicit customer needs, listen actively, adapt to changing environments, take initiative, prioritize tasks, and maintain result orientation.

Remuneration and Perks

• Annual salary ranges between ₹300,000 and ₹350,000.
