Job description
Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for scouting and securing commercial retail spaces suitable for launching new Lenskart outlets within their assigned region.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate prospective commercial properties for new store openings.
- Manage retail property searches and maintain coordination with stakeholders including property developers, landlords, project consultants, and property brokers.
- Analyze potential store locations and their catchment areas for strategic expansion.
- Negotiate lease terms such as rental agreements and landlord scope of work to finalize property acquisitions.
- Oversee legal due diligence and handle documentation required for signing leases and acquiring properties.
- Collaborate internally across departments to ensure smooth store launch operations.
- Build and sustain a pipeline of growth opportunities encompassing both organic expansion and property acquisition.
Candidate Profile
- Possess experience ranging from 1 to 20 years in business development related to property acquisition and scouting.
- Exhibit strong negotiation capabilities paired with an entrepreneurial, self-driven approach and innovative thinking.
- Demonstrate a passion for achieving results and high levels of commitment.
- Display robust analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain high personal integrity and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint.
