Role Overview
As a Retail Shift Manager at Lidl in Kirkwall, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the store day-to-day. You'll lead and motivate your team while handling operational responsibilities across the shop floor in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Support and motivate your team, applying Lidl's Leadership and Company Principles.
- Effectively delegate duties and promptly resolve any issues during the shift.

- Oversee store operations and manage staff in the absence of senior managers.
- Maintain standards in freshness, cash handling, inventory control, and stock management to ensure efficient shifts.
- Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate ranging from £15.45 to £15.95, with additional pay of £2.00 per hour on bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for night shifts.
- 35-hour work week with shifts scheduled between 5:00 AM and 10:30 PM, Monday through Sunday.
- Generous holiday entitlement of 30 to 35 days annually on a pro rata basis.
