This role is part of the Retail department based at the Southampton store, reporting directly to the Deputy Store Manager. The position is full-time and onsite.

Job Overview

As a Retail Sales Advisor, you will greet customers warmly and guide them in selecting furniture pieces suited to their homes. This position offers a basic salary range of £22,629 to £26,508 annually with an uncapped commission structure that rewards your sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in choosing furniture that fits their needs and preferences.
• Process customer orders meticulously, including handling finance applications.
• Meet and exceed personal sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a consistent five-star shopping experience.
• Keep showrooms tidy through regular cleaning and rearranging furniture as necessary.
• Maintain a welcoming, secure, and friendly environment within the showroom.
• Stay informed about all poltronesofà products and services by ongoing learning.
• Perform other related duties reflecting the responsibilities of the position as needed.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be an energetic self-starter with a strong work ethic and a positive "can do" attitude. While prior sales experience is helpful, it is not essential as personality and willingness to learn are valued highly. Teamwork skills and flexibility to work shifts are important. Experience in customer-facing roles and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service will be key to success.
