About the Role
MediaTek Research (MRTW) seeks talented individuals passionate about advancing machine learning and deep learning theories. The role involves developing scalable and workable solutions while pushing the boundaries of learning theory in a collaborative and flexible environment.

Primary Responsibilities
- Drive the progression of state-of-the-art learning theory research.
- Collaborate internationally to apply deep learning theories to novel and practical domains.
- Lead initiatives that bridge theoretical ML/DL knowledge with concrete real-world applications, ensuring interpretability beyond black-box models.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possess advanced academic qualifications (Master's or PhD) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or fields closely related.
- Have authored publications in prominent journals or conferences such as ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, EMNLP, or ACL.
- Experience leading small project teams (1-2 members) focused on applying ML/DL theories to tangible problems with transparent methodologies.
