About the Role
Corpay Cross-Border is a globally recognized provider of payments and risk management solutions operating in key financial centers worldwide. The Regulatory Compliance Analyst will be based in Sydney, supporting Corpay’s APAC payment and foreign exchange derivatives operations, focusing on regulatory requirements within Australia, Singapore, and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with regulatory dealings involving ASIC (Australia), MAS (Singapore), FMA (New Zealand), and other APAC regulators.
- Support the preparation and timely submission of required regulatory reports, including breach and derivative transaction reporting.
- Help maintain corporate oversight programs.
- Contribute to the upkeep of internal compliance systems for protecting client funds.
- Collaborate across departments such as Legal, Sales, Finance, Operations, and IT to embed regulatory requirements within business activities.
- Support the firm’s risk management processes by updating risk registers and monitoring incidents, breaches, and complaints.
- Assist with compliance training, awareness initiatives, and tracking regulatory changes affecting APAC operations.
- Perform additional compliance-related duties as directed by senior compliance leaders.
Candidate Requirements
- Some prior experience or internship in regulatory compliance, financial services, or legal support, preferably within Australian financial institutions focused on payments or foreign exchange.
- Basic understanding of Australian financial regulatory frameworks, especially ASIC obligations and Corporations Act compliance.
- Knowledge of Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) requirements and ASIC reporting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with foreign exchange derivative products and their reporting regimes is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and a motivated, proactive outlook towards learning.
- Ability to work well collaboratively in a dynamic, multinational corporate environment.
- Genuine enthusiasm for developing expertise in financial regulation and compliance.
