Regional Rail Director

Our infrastructure division specializes in aviation, highways, bridges, ports, rail and transit, tunnels, and water projects. We're currently looking for a Regional Rail Director to lead our Middle East rail operations based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, formulate winning strategies, assemble competitive teams, and secure projects.
• Collaborate with the Global Rail Leadership team to strengthen and expand the rail practice.
• Lead and oversee major technical programs, effectively managing scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Inspire, organize, and manage multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives.
• Engage with owners and stakeholders to manage their interests and expectations.
• Deliver presentations and communicate complex ideas, concepts, and project details to owners, contractors, and other parties.
• Foster internal and external partnerships to support project goals.
• Review and critique the work of others constructively in professional settings.
• Promote the company through networking, industry events, and develop leads for new business opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field; Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Engineering License and PMP certification are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 15 years in rail infrastructure, vehicles, signaling, or systems integration, including at least 5 years in the Middle East region.
• Proven track record securing annual contracts exceeding $5 million as a proposal leader.
• At least 8 years managing multidisciplinary systems projects valued over $50 million across a minimum of three different projects.
• Experience in specification writing, engineering procedure creation, standards development, financial oversight, and cost estimating.
• Thorough knowledge of railway operations, system safety, RAMS, and related industry requirements.
• Strong communication skills with proficiency in technical writing.
• Demonstrated ability in staff training, mentoring, and client education.
