Job description
About the Role
Join Info-Tech Research Group as the Regional Director for Western Australia, becoming part of one of our top-performing global teams. Based in Perth, this role thrives on fostering a culture that values people and collaboration while delivering exceptional results. You'll enjoy autonomy to grow your business backed by seasoned leaders, expert analysts, and supportive colleagues, all promoting a culture of continuous learning, curiosity, and genuine work-life balance.
This position goes beyond conventional sales by engaging directly with senior technology executives to address complex business and technological challenges. As part of the fastest-growing research and advisory firm worldwide, you will leverage actionable research, knowledgeable advisors, and tested methodologies to help clients implement solutions effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish new executive-level relationships and expand Info-Tech’s footprint throughout Western Australia.
- Manage the entire sales process from strategic prospecting and negotiation to closing deals and growing accounts.
- Conduct consultative conversations centered on value with CIOs, CDOs, CISOs, CFOs, and other senior decision-makers.
- Align Info-Tech’s offerings—research, advisory, consulting, diagnostics—with client priorities to deliver tangible outcomes.
- Proactively build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through networking, referrals, marketing efforts, and direct executive engagement.
- Present compelling, customized presentations that address each client’s strategic goals.
- Work closely with analysts, advisors, and subject matter experts to bring tailored expertise to client engagements.
- Keep accurate pipeline and forecast data updated using Salesforce.
- Provide market insights and client feedback to help enhance products, services, and approaches to market.
- Engage continuously in professional improvement via coaching and collaboration.
Success Indicators
- Developing trusted advisor relationships instead of being perceived as a traditional salesperson.
- Effectively navigating complex organizational structures to create new business opportunities and win executive support.
- Taking full ownership of your region to consistently drive new and existing business growth.
- Balancing commercial ambition with a deep, genuine curiosity about client challenges and business contexts.
- Contributing to a collaborative, positive, high-performance team culture.
Candidate Qualifications and Experience
- At least 10 years’ experience in enterprise B2B sales, strategic account management, consulting, or business development involving complex organizations.
- Proven success in forging trusted partnerships with CIOs and senior tech leaders, preferably within the Western Australian market.
- Consultative and outcome-oriented mindset with a strong ability to align technology initiatives with business results.
- Robust commercial insight and executive stature with the aptitude to conduct strategic discussions in an authentic and client-focused manner.
- Strong sense of personal accountability for territory, client relationships, and performance outcomes.
- Intellectual curiosity, eagerness to learn continuously, and thoughtful questioning approach.
- Resilient, adaptable, and skilled at managing complex sales cycles with patience and professionalism.
- Collaborative and humble in teamwork, eager to share knowledge and celebrate collective success.
- Growth-oriented with openness to feedback, coaching, and ongoing personal and professional development.
- Proficient with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft 365 productivity tools.
- Must hold a valid Australian driver's license and have unrestricted work eligibility in Australia.
- A tertiary degree in business, technology, or a related field is preferred but not compulsory.
Additional Information
- Flexible hybrid work model based on trust, autonomy, and accountability.
- Access to some of Western Australia’s top CIOs and senior executives.
- Competitive base salary coupled with uncapped earning potential.
- Comprehensive benefits package with continual investment in career development.
- Annual global recognition trips for top performers to destinations like Turkey, Dominican Republic, and Mexico.
- Embedded in a high-achieving team culture where people and collaboration are as valued as results.
If you are eager to contribute to a top-tier team that combines outstanding sales achievements with a thriving workplace culture, we invite your application.
